2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information only as needed to provide our services:

• Booking — email address, preferred date and session, and boat selection.
• Contact details — first and last name, phone number, age, boating certification (PCOC), and experience level. Collected after a booking is created to complete your reservation.
• Waiver signatures — name, email, and timestamp when you sign our liability waiver and rental agreement. Required by law for watercraft operation.
• Payment — processed directly by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number, expiry, or CVV.
• Contact form — name, email, and message when you reach out through the website.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your boat rental booking
• To send booking confirmations, reminders, and waiver links by email
• To meet legal and safety obligations (waiver records, age verification)
• To respond to enquiries submitted via the contact form
• To send deals and updates — only if you have opted in

4. Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers necessary to operate our business:

• Stripe — payment processing. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe under their Privacy Policy.
• HubSpot — CRM used to manage bookings and customer communications.
• Postmark — transactional email delivery (confirmations, waiver links).

5. Cookies

We use only functional cookies necessary to operate the website (for example, session management). We do not use advertising or behavioural tracking cookies, so no cookie consent banner is required.

6. Data Retention

Booking records and signed waiver documents are retained for a minimum of seven years to satisfy insurance and legal requirements. Contact form submissions and newsletter subscriptions are retained until you request removal.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time (unsubscribe link in every email)
• Request deletion of your information, subject to our legal retention obligations
